Positivity Breeds Success
Her success as a public speaker can be tied to her positive attitude in the wake of the attack. "I refuse to be called a victim. I am not defined by what happened in my life. I am a survivor, defined by how I live my life."

A Family Affair
On the first anniversary of the bombing attack, Adrianne joined her brothers, Timothy and David Haslet, at the finish line of the 118th Boston Marathon, running a short distance of the race. Last year she wore a ballroom gown and danced the foxtrot across the finish line. She confessed to a reporter from the Associated Press that she doesn't consider herself a runner. "If I'm running, you should be, too, because something's wrong," she joked.

A Newly Found Goal In Life
