Medal of Honor: Lessons in Personal Bravery and Self-Sacrifice
How do you teach character—especially to young people? It certainly requires much more than a simple lesson plan. The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation is dedicated to educating and inspiring Americans about the values embodied in the Medal of Honor: courage and sacrifice, commitment and integrity, citizenship and patriotism. Through their program for middle and high school students, the organization aims to inspire young people to develop strong character through increased awareness, education, ethical behavior and example.
